The reference dateline is a darker vertical line in the chart. You can drag it to the left or right with your mouse. You can use it for whatever goal you like. It can be the ultimate deadline of a project, a specifically important milestone or maybe the current average progress within the project.

Use json files for local backups or if you are a developer and want to built upon Tom's Planner (more info).
PDF
This is the best option if you want to print your schedule (and stick it up the wall).

Press with your finger for at least 1 second on the highlighted row.
Now click on the 'add row' option in the menu that just appeared.
Great! You added a new row. We named it "Visual Design" for you.

Now let's schedule the activity.
Right click with your mouse on the highlighted row. Press with your finger for at least 1 second on the highlighted row.
Now click on the 'add time block' option in the menu.
And choose a color for your time block.
There you go! You created your first 'time block'.
Now change the start date by dragging the time block with your mouse to the left or right. Now change the start date by dragging the time block with your finger to the left or right.
